On January 9, the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory for Lubricating New Materials and Intelligent Lubrication Technology held its 2024 Annual Academic Committee Meeting at the Zhongtian Petrochemical Research Institute. The meeting’s goal was to talk about how the lab had grown over the past year and how it would continue to expand in the future.
Mr. Gao Xiaomou, who is the Chairman of Zhongtian Petrochemical Group and the Director of the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory, spoke first during the meeting. He congratulated all the committee members for the hard work and effort they put in over the last year. He said that the lab has always followed the motto “Planning for the future while managing the present.” This implies that as it grows, it will focus on new technologies and working with other companies to make the market more efficient.
Mr. Gao talked about three basic ideas that go into making a product:

He also stressed again that the market is what makes technology better, and that people who use it are the ones who rate that advancement. This year, the lab has done quite well by merging research and development initiatives with what the market wants.
After hearing detailed reports on the laboratory’s progress, all of the committee members agreed that the Key Laboratory of Lubricating New Materials and Intelligent Lubrication Technology had made great strides in building platforms, training staff, sharing knowledge, and working with other organizations.
At the meeting, specialists talked in depth about topics related to lubricating new materials and smart lubrication technologies. They shared the results and insights from their study. They also gave the lab good suggestions, telling it to make greater use of open research projects, get resources from both inside and outside the lab, better position new goods, and develop new ways to use them in the market.
