On October 25, 2025, the MBA Distinguished Lecture Series at Anhui University had a special session. Mr. Gao Xiaomou, Chairman of Zhongtian Petrochemical, was the guest speaker and an off-campus practice mentor. The speaker titled the lecture “Refining the Four Forces: Strengthening Core Corporate Advantages.”
It took place at the Yifu Library on Longhe Campus. Associate Dean Zhang Chen from the School of Business hosted the event. All MBA students from the Class of 2025 attended the event.
During the lecture, Chairman Gao Xiaomou talked about nearly thirty years of Zhongtian Petrochemical’s growth. He presented the “Four Forces Refinement” model. This model focuses on four areas: strategic precision, team excellence, lean operations, and refined management. He elaborated on how enterprises can systematically build and strengthen their core capabilities through these pillars.
Mr. Gao emphasized that strategic precision is the foundation of enterprise growth, and that strategic expansion outweighs tactical progress. He encouraged managers to “choose the right track, focus on advantages, and innovate continuously.”
In the digital age, he said, leaders should use the “Five Management Mirrors.” This will help them become wiser. It will also encourage teamwork among the four forces. This way, organizations can achieve high-quality growth.
The lecture concluded with enthusiastic applause. Participants all agreed that the session was helpful, thorough, and exceptionally practical. It combined important theory with real case studies. It broadened their understanding of business operations and management, providing valuable inspiration for future work and study.
Anhui University School of Business will use this lecture to strengthen ties with businesses. They will also include new industry insights.
