Product characteristics
CK-4 Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil is a heavy-duty diesel engine oil blended to the API CK-4 service category, the current category for high-speed four-stroke diesels designed to meet 2017 model-year on-highway and Tier 4 non-road emission standards. API rates CK-4 as exceeding the performance criteria of CJ-4, CI-4 and CH-4, so one CK-4 oil can cover a mixed fleet of older and newer engines in the viscosity grade each manual specifies. We supply it in 10W-40 and 15W-40 (the 10W-30 shown in the specification table is an FA-4 formulation, a separate category); the technical data sheet below lists the typical data and the OEM specifications for each grade, and the batch certificate for the drums on order is available on request. Our minimum order is 20 packaging units, trial orders below that are negotiable, and standard packs are 1 L, 4 L, 18 L and 200 L. Product Application:
Heavy-duty, high-output diesel engines in container and long-haul trucks, construction and mining machinery, generator sets and large agricultural equipment, including engines with exhaust after-treatment systems. Use the viscosity grade the engine manual specifies; the 10W-30 grade shown as FA-4 in the specification table is a separate API category that is not backward compatible with CK-4, so confirm which one the manual names before ordering.
