CK-4 Fully Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil is our fully synthetic grade of heavy-duty diesel engine oil blended to the API CK-4 service category, the current category for high-speed four-stroke diesels designed to meet 2017 model-year on-highway and Tier 4 non-road emission standards. It is the grade to ask for where the operator wants the longest drain interval the engine maker allows or runs in a cold climate, since the synthetic base oil sets the low-temperature pumping limit; the technical data sheet below lists the typical data by viscosity grade. API rates CK-4 as exceeding the performance criteria of CJ-4, CI-4 and CH-4. Our minimum order is 20 packaging units, trial orders below that are negotiable, and standard packs are 1 L, 4 L, 18 L and 200 L; technical data sheets, safety data sheets and batch certificates are issued by grade and batch. Product Application:
Fleets that run modern turbocharged diesels with diesel particulate filters or selective catalytic reduction and want one oil across the fleet: long-haul and container trucks, mining and construction machinery, generator sets. Use the viscosity grade the engine manual specifies; where the manual names FA-4, a separate category that is not backward compatible with CK-4, ask us for that grade instead.
