All of it is one batch, YL0622R10201, produced on 22 June 2026. What the pail label tells you, field by field
The label is printed in English and Spanish, so a warehouse in Colombia can receive and shelve the pails without relabelling. Each field answers a question a buyer would otherwise have to ask.

A label is a claim, not a test result. What confirms that the oil in the pail matches the grade is the certificate of analysis for batch YL0622R10201, which we send on request before payment.
Litres and kilograms: putting pail and drum prices on one basis
Hydraulic oil pails sold in Colombia come in 18 L, 19 L (five US gallons) and 20 L sizes, and drums are often quoted by weight. A price per pail or per drum therefore compares nothing until it is converted to a price per litre.
- Pail: price per litre = pail price ÷ litres in the pail. For our pails, divide by 18; for a five-gallon pail, divide by 18.9; for a 20 L pail, divide by 20.
- Drum: litres in the drum = net kilograms ÷ density in kg/L. The density of batch YL0622R10201 is on its certificate of analysis. As an illustration only, at 0.87 kg/L the 170 kg drum holds about 195 L; at 0.86 kg/L, about 198 L.
A 200 L drum filled to 170 kg does not contain 200 litres. The 200 L figure is the drum’s size. Quotes that price a drum as if it held 200 L of oil overstate the volume by roughly 1 to 2.5 percent at those densities.
Where L-HM 32 is the right oil, and where it is not
“32” means the oil’s kinematic viscosity at 40 °C falls inside the ISO VG 32 window of 28.8 to 35.2 mm²/s, as defined by ISO 3448. “L-HM” means an anti-wear mineral hydraulic oil. The combination is what equipment manuals and distributors also call AW 32 or HM 32.
This is the standard L-HM grade, which the product data sheet describes for low and medium pressure hydraulic systems in industrial machinery, construction machinery, ships and vehicles. Three situations call for a different product:
- The equipment manual specifies VG 46 or VG 68. The manual’s grade wins over habit or availability. How the three common grades differ is set out in AW32 vs AW46 vs AW68 hydraulic oil.
- The pump maker requires a zinc-free (ashless) oil, typically because the pump contains silver or other yellow-metal parts. Standard L-HM is not ashless; the ashless L-HM is a separate product and is not part of this stock.
- The system runs high-pressure piston pumps where the OEM asks for a high-pressure anti-wear grade. That is our high-pressure L-HM, also not part of this stock.

The production figures are our standard lead times; the ocean transit is the range recorded on an earlier container shipment to Buenaventura. A buyer who needs 2,000 litres this month cannot wait for either factory route. A buyer planning a year’s supply for a fleet usually should order by container instead, and use local stock for the first fill or for a gap.
